UX/UI Designer

 

ESKI is composed of three brands that service various markets: PixMob, klik and Safeteams. Our mission is to provide memorable experiences through our wearable technologies. PixMob helps create immersive crowd lighting experiences at live entertainment events, making the audience part of the show. Klik is a powerful business networking and information sharing tools for corporate events. Safeteams is our most recent invention. This product provides effective automated contact tracing and contagion analytics capabilities.

As the UX/UI designer for Safeteams, you’ll be helping to create and evolve an innovative platform to ensure the health and safety of workers during this pandemic. You will be an essential member of the product team where you will lead the design process from the initial user research to the final UI designs. You will be collaborating closely with the product managers and software developers to help define the best solutions following user-centric and design thinking methodologies. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn and capable of adapting quickly in order to take on unique challenges, but also gain many opportunities for growth and development.

 

 

Your role on our team

  • Owning all stages of the design process from concept through launch
  • Conducting user research and evaluating user feedback
  • Analyzing data to support your design decisions
  • Defining the user experience in order to create simple and effective solutions
  • Updating and evolving UX documentation (Personas, Customer journey map)
  • Creating user flows and wireframes in order to validate the user interactions
  • Creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing design concepts
  • Organizing visuals and design assets in order to establish component libraries and update design guidelines and best practices
  • Delivering detailed design specs and communicating clearly with the software team
  • Creating prototypes in order to perform user-testing of your designs

 

You are the person for this role if you fit the following criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative suite (Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of UX human-centered design principles, best practices, methodologies
  • Knowledge user research and user testing
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
  • Passion for visual design and aesthetics

 

Nice to have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
  • Experience working in an agile framework and ability to contribute to sprint planning and user story definition
